It don't last a second

Summer doesn't last a second in London. These photos were taken on Monday. Today I wore a wooly jumper and nearly got blown into the canal on my bike.
A moment of elation and utter freedom after handing my portfolio in for the Linbury Prize. The Southbank never fails to amuse me in summer as Britain desperately clings on to the possibility of a city beach holiday.

Enjoying a generous breakfast with one of my favouritest person in the world.

Smile.

PS > dear beautiful cafes. I love spending my time and money on you. You notice it is now light until close to 10pm. Please stay open past 6!

Oh, hello!

Let's start from the present and work out way backwards over the past 5 weeks.

London summer, premature, what a time!

And naturally the East End has been heaving, it's the place to be for fashion sunbathing and flat white-sipping, fixies parked under the blossom trees...

On an earlier, more food-related note of course, I was blessed with the lovely company of Giulia for a long weekend - this meant a couple of unnecessary purchases including a hula hoop and a 2kg box of ripe mangoes. The mangoes we ate for a week and the calories we burned off hula-hooping every day.

Back to my favourite morning moment, complete with agave. Happy girl.
